What is Oslery?

The idea to found Oslery originates in Scarlett Clauss' deep love and fascination for osmium, the rarest precious metal on earth. As Vice Director of the German Osmium Institute, she has seen the very first steps the last precious metal to ever be introduced to the market took, she has watched it take off and the market grow, and not only accept the newcomer, but embrace it for its unique and outstanding characteristics.

From very early on, Scarlett saw the potential of osmium to not simply be an investment metal, but also a jewellery metal. In its crystalline form, osmium outshines every diamond and adorns every piece of jewellery with a sense of uniqueness, beauty and sophistication.

When founding Oslery GmbH in 2020, Scarlett knew that her role would not be to produce jewellery pieces herself, but to set the initial spark and then hand the market over to the most innovative and creative people from the industry. Once the word had started to spread and manufacturers from all over the world started to produce high quality osmium jewellery, Oslery found its true purpose: offering a platform for designers to showcase and sell their beautiful creations, thus spreading the word even more across the globe.

Oslery is not a brand but rather a gallery that deeply honours everyone who steps into the sparkling world of osmium. The close connection to the Osmium Institute provides the integrity, knowledge and background needed for anyone who asks for support and wants to work with osmium.

Since its introduction to the market, osmium has proven its potential and value in the world of jewellery many times. The discovery of new shapes, angles and creations has only just begun, and we cannot wait to add many more spectacular designs to our shop.

Do you want to be a part of something truly unique, new and inspiring? Then get in touch with us to list your osmium jewelry or to get started on your osmium journey with your first inlays. We cannot wait to meet you!

Why Osmium?

Rarest Precious Metal

Osmium is the rarest and most valuable precious metal on Earth, significantly scarcer than gold, platinum, or diamonds.

High Investment Potential

Due to its rarity and unique properties, osmium is gaining traction as a high-value asset in the precious metals market.

Non-Tarnishing

Unlike silver or other metals, crystallized osmium does not oxidize, ensuring its shine and durability over time which is amazing for jewellery manufacturing.

Certified and Tracked

Every piece of crystallized osmium is uniquely identified and recorded in the Osmium Identification Code (OIC) system, ensuring authenticity and traceability.

Why Osmium?

My name is Scarlett Clauss and as founder and managing director of Oslery GmbH. I have been leading the German Osmium Institute as Vice Director since 2019. I see the Osmium Institutes as one of the most exciting start-up businesses of the last ten years and was actively involved in their development.

Oslery is a initiative to build a space for all the Osmium Jewellery Designers of the world to showcase their talent on a digital platform.

Osmium is my passion, I love the material and its potential as an investment. To ensure X-code allocation and support for the first manufacturers in the jewelry market, I founded the Oslery GmbH, which has since specialized in one-of-a-kind pieces with Osmium inlays. We would like to add value and introduce you to Osmium, one of the most precious and fascinating raw materials of our time.
