    Cooperations with new brands

Osmium is no longer an unknown niche product. In the last decade, it has established itself as a tangible asset and jewelry metal, and more and more major brands are working with osmium, especially in the jewelry sector.

There are some exciting projects in the pipeline that we can’t say much about yet, as NDAs are “unfortunately” standard here. But as soon as we can share information, you’ll be the first to know!

One thing can be revealed, however: The fact that osmium and jewelry are an unbeatable combination has not gone unnoticed by the leaders in the jewelry market. We are delighted about the interest in osmium, about the fact that the first prototypes for jewelry lines are already being created, and look forward to the moment when we can lift the veil – perhaps even this year, but no later than 2025!

    Oslery at the Inhorgenta 2024

For the third time, Oslery was an exhibitor at Germany’s largest jewelry fair, the annual Inhorgenta in Munich, this year from February 16-19.

We were delighted to be allocated a space in Hall B1, the hall for fine jewelry. Our booth, number 408, was structured a little more artistically this year, and we were excited to present pieces of jewelry from China, Korea, Brazil, Europe and the UK.

Four of the enchantingly beautiful pieces of osmium jewelry were also submitted for this year’s Inhorgenta Award.

There was also something to win: The Oslery raffled off a total of 40 pieces of the rarest precious metal in the world, 10 each of osmium diamonds, stars, squares and triangles!

We were delighted to welcome every visitor who came to see us and wanted to gain an insight into the sparkling world of the Sunshine Element.

Osmium ring graces cover of goldsmith magazine

This is the third time that an osmium piece of jewelry has been featured on the cover of the “Goldschmiede-Zeitung”.
50 years of Inhorgenta: In issue 01/24, GZ not only takes its readers on a visual journey through time – we are delighted that the spectacular “Supernova” ring, a design by Brazilian Anthony Garcia, graces the cover of this special issue.

The name and design of the unusual ring are inspired by the formation of the platinum group metals, including osmium. Scientists assume that these metals were created by a so-called supernova. The exceptional design symbolizes the brief, bright glow of a star at the end of its life; a radiance that increases millions to billions of times at the moment of explosion.

The centerpiece of the ring is made of osmium, and the design almost seems to float in the air around the finger wearing it.

The “Supernova” ring and its radiance will also be entered for this year’s Inhorgenta Award.
GZ is also dedicating an editorial article to Osmium, which we are very excited about. We would like to thank the Goldschmiede-Zeitung for the great cooperation, which is attracting a lot of attention to Osmium!

    Osmium in “Welt der Wunder”

As a small preview, we are delighted to announce that Welt der Wunder has produced a great video about osmium, which will go online on the German Osmium Institute’s YouTube channel in November: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW949pIFnQJLeS-GYbrXy7w

With a length of just under 10 minutes, the report summarises the market around the last precious metal fantastically and is absolutely worth watching!

The video of a presentation by Scarlett Clauss at the trade fair Intergem will also go online on this YouTube channel in the coming weeks, so it’s worth giving it a thumbs up and subscribing to the channel!

Osmium has found its way to Asia

The last precious metal takes its first steps in the Asian market and effortlessly wins the hearts of the Koreans.

In October, Oslery was delighted to support the Korean Osmium Institute under the direction of Kuo-Hi Lee, which laid the foundation for entering the Asian market by attendingThe Most Valuables jewellery and luxury trade fair in Seoul.

Korea is considered a trendsetter in the Asian regions and a pioneer for innovative ideas. The last precious metal attracted not only visitors but also a lot of press, who didn’t turn down the opportunity for photos and interviews.

Equally elegant: Korean chopsticks and osmium

We are particularly proud of the first jewellery collection made in Seoul with osmium, which is surely only the beginning of an exciting new market.

We are delighted that osmium is finding its way into Asia – in addition to Korea, the last precious metal is currently also expanding into Thailand, mainland China and Hong Kong.

Scarlett Clauss, who was on location together with her colleague Nicole Draszow, gave a well-attended presentation that attracted a lot of attention, as did one of the highlights of the trade fair: The Osmium Violin.

What a successful start to what we hope will be a great collaboration with Korea!

    Osmium at the Intergem 2023

A particular highlight in the last few months was most definitely the annual stone trade fairIntergem in Idar-Oberstein in September, where Oslery was an exhibitor for the first time.

With the support of the German Osmium Institute and with a booth directly in the foyer, the eye-catching pieces of jewellery, refined with osmium, attracted many curious people and kept them marvelling for quite some time.

Oslery-founder Scarlett Clauss presents the osmium violin (https://www.osmium-art.com/)

Especially the osmium violin attracted a lot of attention. The most valuable new violin in the world is a project by “Osmium-Art” and was created by Edgar Russ. The unique instrument is adorned with a total of 298 high-quality gemstones and 541 pieces of crystalline osmium.

Katharina Perez’s jewellery show and the enthusiasm of young goldsmith students who were inspired to work with the world’s most nobel precious metal are just a few of the many impressions that Intergem 2023 provided.

Thank you very much – we are looking forward to next year’s Intergem!
